For the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, the photographer Jonathan Bertin has made a touching and inspiring portrait of Normandy, the region where he grew up. This artist does not use photography to fix a moment but to set it in motion. He gives it the fluidity of a painting to bring personal moments, everyday scenes, and urban or rustic landscapes to life.
This artistic project has become an opportunity to travel in the footsteps of the Impressionists in Normandy, from the banks of the Seine to the Côte d'Albâtre, via the Côte Fleurie.
The Impressionism Exhibition has been put on by the Regional Tourist Board of Normandy, in partnership with the City of Rouen and the Normandie Impressionniste Festival.
