After traveling through the territory around Yvetot and Le Pays de Caux, crossing the very sites of Impressionism, Marc Desgrandchamps, one of France’s greatest living painters, is presenting a series of new works showing moments suspended between two memories or realities. Wide expanses, horizon lines and divisions feed into an oeuvre which already gave an important place to landscapes. At the same time, a piece by Desgrandchamps, specially produced for the festival, is being presented facing the canvas Les Villottes, painted by Charles Angrand in 1887, at the Musée des Ivoires.
