All along the Austreberthe – a picnic brought by the participants in the musical mood of a guinguette (polkas, mazurkas, quadrilles...) as well as events (an eco-hat workshop) in period costumes – with an invitation by local painters to paint on easels. This is a deep dive into the impressionist world and the joyous spirit of the popular dances which thrived at the end of the 19th century when the polka, waltz and mazurka triumphed. This will be a non-stop event mingling the apprenticeship of dances and a rural feast (picnics brought by the public, with the possibility to buy on site) and a demonstration of dances by the association "Le Bal Mabille", followed by a popular ball.
