The spirit of innovation, which led the Impressionists to highlight everyday life in all its novelty, has been refreshed by Lily van der Stokker by bringing into the world of art preoccupations that had no place there before: old age, domestic concerns or her relationships with her artistic milieu. This exhibition features large-format murals, drawings and objects painted by this Dutch artist over the past ten years. An oeuvre which is by turns exuberant, funny and engaged.
