BLURRY TRIP

05.23

More than ever, the 5th edition of the Normandie Impressionniste festival is establishing a link between history and today on the theme of the spirit of invention. This collaboration between the École Supérieure d’Art et Design Le Havre-Rouen (ESADHaR) and the École 42 Le Havre has given art design students an exceptional opportunity to give free rein to their imagination in the conception of innovative digital projects.

Every form of invention is possible, in the creation of digital objects that are innovative, hybrid, playful, educational and poetic, aimed at the festivalgoers. These digital creations are part of the programme, as in a kind of embedded festival.

Among these propositions can be found : BLURRY TRIP.

Blurry Tip is the name of a web app project which offers a distorted journey, using a 360° camera. As with the Google Street View virtual navigation service, the students have provided a new timeline which shakes up our markers: a journey whose images become superimposed, the world is deformed by motion, while acceleration is frozen. The students have taken their inspiration from the work of Jacques Perconte, Après le feu. This video work presents a destruction of images and of the colours generated by the code.

An ongoing project by the students Marceau Bouissonnie (Ecole 42), Gurvan Siband and Clara Bregis (ESADHaR).
